Recommendations: Wear clothing suitable for the time of year.
Wear walking boots (there are some very rocky areas) and use a trekking stick.
Avoid walking in the mountains on hot days.
Take drinking water as there is none available along the route.
Binoculars are recommended for bird lovers.

Fornocal canyon. At the head of the canyon is the Muriecho shelter with interesting pre-historic paintings in the Levantine style.

Arruellos quarry. Great chunks of stone were extracted from here to use as millstones for grinding olives in local olive oil mills.

The Cunarda Nook. An impressive cavity created by the erosion of the rock.
