Nestled on the banks of the River Vero in Castillazuelo, this centre takes the visitor on a journey of discovery through history, nature and culture. It highlights the fundamental importance of water and the ingenuity man has shown over the years to obtain it.
A spectacular audiovisual show can be enjoyed on the centre’s impressive wide screen, which is further enhanced by an exhibition recreating river eco-systems and featuring moving models of mills. Educational panels relating to water explain how man has put the river water to use over recent decades.
From outside the visitor centre, it is possible to take a pleasant and educational walk along the banks of the River Vero. This simple route is known locally as the Ras Vals Way. (Camino de ras Vals.) |
