This informative Visitor Centre is situated in Bierge, which is one of the main gateways to the Sierra de Guara Natural Park, and the departure point to several of its canyons.
Various models, displays and interactive games allow the visitor to discover the wild beauty of the park in an informative and enjoyable way. The centre also provides an excellent opportunity to get to know some of the more prominent cultural aspects of the park. These include the unique collection of prehistoric cave paintings dotted along the canyon of the River Vero, in addition to the detailed ethnological heritage existing within the park’s boundaries.
A spectacular audiovisual display highlights the special features of this protected region. The Sierra de Guara Natural park is considered to be a unique natural space within Europe; one of the main reasons being the high number of canyons and ravines of a karstic origin it contains.
