The Diocesan Museum is situated in the cathedral of Barbastro. It is home to a rich display of sacred works of art, originating from a number of different parish churches within the Barbastro-Monzón Diocese. Many of these pieces have been brought from uninhabited or sparsely populated villages.
With over 250 pieces on display, including paintings, sculptures, pottery and textiles, an appreciation of works of art from different eras can be gained. A few of these artefacts should be highlighted such as; the 12th century mitre of San Victorián; the Christ Pantocrator of Villaman from between the 13th and 14th centuries; the reliquary of San Ramón and San Valero dating back to the 18th century; and the 11th century Moorish capitals.
